At the beginning of the 1990s the economic situation in Russia was very instable. But, nevertheless Güntner decided to found a production plant in Russia.

Thus, in 1993, the new manufacturing site Güntner-Ish GmbH was inaugurated in Izhevsk, in the region of Udmurtia. The production procedure and technologies used by Güntner assured from the beginning the high quality of the manufactured products for optimally serving the requirements of the Russian Market.

The production site of Güntner-Ish consists of two production areas: Finned heat exchangers are manufactured in Izhevsk, liquid receivers are produced in the town of Sarapul. Thus, Güntner-Ish offers a large range of different products, besides finned heat exchangers and liquid receivers, also oil coolers as well as oil and droplet separators are produced. The products comply with national and international regulations, such as the requirements of authorized bodies like the Russian Shipping Register, GOST R and TÜV.

Besides the provision of high-quality products, also consulting and advising the customer personally plays an important role at Güntner Ish. Together with the customer, the best solution is elaborated, also for technically demanding applications.

In 2008, Güntner-Ish celebrated its 15-year anniversary. Today the products are sold all over Russia and the CIS countries. In addition, Güntner Ish possesses since 2008 the approval to export heat exchangers and other products into Belorussia. With the growing Eastern market, new opportunities arise for Güntner-Ish that will further its continuous growth.
